Which ERPs do you work with?
Merlin works from your price sheet and order data. Any ERP that can export to Excel or CSV works, including Epicor, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Acumatica and JobBOSS. If your ERP can publish a scheduled export to a link, Merlin refreshes from it every 6 hours. Direct ERP connections are custom work through JCube Tech AI.
Do we need an ERP at all?
No. Many distributors start with the Excel price sheet their team already quotes from. Order Status needs an order export, which can be a regular report.
How accurate are the quotes on custom specs?
Merlin prices only items it can match to your price sheet, and prices are calculated from your sheet, never written by the AI. Missing dimensions, unclear specs or items not on the sheet are flagged for your rep. Shadow mode shows you its accuracy on your own RFQs before anything goes live.
What happens with edge cases?
Lines Merlin can't match are listed as "to confirm" and flagged. Quotes over your review threshold, first-time customers and low-stock items are flagged too. Your rep fixes the line in the quote editor before sending.
Does anything go out without our approval?
No. Every quote, order update, document and follow-up waits for a person on your team to approve it.
How good is the French?
Merlin replies in the language the customer wrote in, with natural Québec business French. Part numbers, descriptions and terms come straight from your price sheet.
How much IT effort does it take?
A few hours: connecting the mailbox, exporting the price sheet and, if you want automatic refreshes, setting up a scheduled export. We do the rest.
How long until we're live?
Pilots typically start shadow mode in week one and go live with approvals inside the 30 days.
What happens after the pilot?
If the metric is met, you move to Starter or Growth, month to month. If it isn't, you owe no monthly fee and you're free to stop.
Can we cancel?
Yes. After the pilot, plans are month to month. Cancel any month.
Is there funding for this?
